In a bold step towards youth empowerment, NBS Plus’ Vybz Nation officially launched Nextars, a movement designed to inspire, empower, and elevate Uganda’s youth, at a high-energy event at Next Media Park this past Saturday.

Targeting Ugandans aged 15 to 25, Nextars is not just another youth campaign; it is a holistic initiative combining personal growth, digital engagement, and community-driven impact. From high school students to early-career professionals, the movement aims to equip young people with practical skills, financial opportunities, and platforms to express themselves meaningfully.
According to project leads, the launch event marked the beginning of something transformational. “We’re not just hosting events, we’re building a lifestyle for Gen Z to thrive in purpose, creativity, and prosperity,” said one of the speakers during the event. With clubs, workshops, concerts, and digital challenges, Nextars provides a 360-degree ecosystem that connects youth with mentors, role models, and brands like MTN that share the vision.
By leveraging platforms such as TikTok, AfroMobile, Next Radio, and NBS TV, Nextars is set to dominate both on-ground and digital spaces, turning youth engagement into a national conversation.
